According to some sources, this was the only Spyder made and was a prototype for the B19. 1978 Lotus-Ford 79, driven by some joker named 1969 McLaren M10 1969 McLaren M10 1969 McLaren M10 1927 Bugatti Type 35B. While this car was supposed to have a supercharged 2.3 liter inline eight, I've been told by a leading Bugatti expert that this car may have been fitted with a period four-cylinder engine of a different make. Certainly the way the engine cover has been cut leads me to believe this. It looked to be in otherwise original condition, maybe even original paint. It's great to see unrestored cars like this.

Update: I received the following via email from another gearhead, who didn't sign his email.
1927 Bugatti Type 35B 1959 Aston-Martin DB4. While the race program listed this as a four-liter V8, I was under the impression that all Astons of this era were inline sixes. Engine compartment of Cobra #CSX2284, a 1965 289 Cobra. While the anodised fuel fittings look out of place, they're probably a bit safer than the original rubber lines. 1947 Alfa Romeo Nardi MM Spyder 1947 Alfa Romeo Nardi MM Spyder 1952 Allard K2 (6500cc Chrysler Hemi) 1952 Allard K2 (6500cc Chrysler Hemi) What being run over by a Pantera looks like.
That 351 Ford is pretty far up there. I imagine half the plugs get changed from this side, and half from the cockpit! Late 60's Dodge Coronet 440 MG T series
